03 Oct We’ve had a busy September.
We’ve had a busy month!
We attended multiple events in September and met with some wonderful people in the printing industry.
September is when everything kicks back into gear, everyone goes back to work and students head back to school. For us, well we head to the trade show floor. Let’s look at what this past month had in store!
Printing United Expo 2024
We were in Las Vegas for this year’s Printing United Expo and were set up in Central Hall. The floor was buzzing with people looking for their next printing solution and the RISO booth was there to answer any and every question that was asked. Our Valezus T1200 was the main attraction again this year. Its bigger sibling, the Valezus T2200, was also in the booth running at 320 impressions per minute!
This year we had the SDD team from the Netherlands with us in our booth along with their SDD booklet finisher. This finisher is a new accessory for us at RISO and it was fitted on the end of our ComColor FT5430 Inkjet printer and Multi-Function Finisher. This accessory truly elevates booklets to that next level.
Mitsy the Mailbox made her debut on the stage this year, with the T1200 behind her and the money booth to her left. People were eager to win a discount or a gift card. They wanted to stay for a demonstration and enter the money booth. Everyone was all smiles while trying to catch flying money and earn themselves a prize.
We had a blast in Las Vegas and can’t wait for Printing United 2025 down in Orlando, Florida!
MHEC
The Massachusetts Higher Education Consortium took place at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA in September. It was full of various vendors from us at RISO to those selling cafeteria ovens and school desks. Many people from local universities, towns, and libraries visited us. They talked with us about our products. This included our inkjet printers and digital duplicators. These tools are great for art communities and students, they help students learn about color theory and create unique pieces of art.
PCC 2024
The Postal Customer Council assembled their yearly show and we were thrilled to be a part of it. RISO had a table set up in Plainville, MA at Plainridge Park.
Representatives from Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island visited our table. They wanted to learn about our Envelope Wrapping Finisher.
This tool is HIPAA compliant. It can print documents and seal them in an envelope. It also adds an address all at once. Plus, it can handle variable data.
Discussion about our Straight Shooter envelope feeder also drew some attention and rightfully so. At 100 envelopes per minute (#10 size), this feeder makes printing envelopes easier than ever.
In conclusion…
RISO had a busy September. We are excited to keep attending events like the upcoming IPMA Roadshows, we’ll see you on the road!
